Louis Vuitton Richard Prince JOKES GRADUATE Bag

Louis Vuitton Richard Prince JOKES GRADUATE Bag. This bag is a limited edition released in 2008. It will never be made again. It is now a collectors piece. I did take it to Louis Vuitton when it came in (more on that below) and they told me that the value of it today in this perfect condition is $3,200. The bag is made of a combination of acid colors on monogram canvas with jokes dear to Richard Prince. It has karung snakeskin trimmings and handles, and shiny golden and darkened brass hardware. It has a zip-top closure and microfiber lining with flat pocket and cell-phone pocket. Carry it on the elbow, or by hand. It measures 13.4" x 11.4" x 5.9" and has a 4" handle drop. Date Code/Authenticity: TH1828. Made in France. Richard Prince signature hand-heat-embossed on the interior karung plaque. Condition: the bag is in ABSOLUTELY PRISTINE, PERFECT CONDITION. Immaculate inside and out. It wasn't carried more than a few times. There are no signs of wear anywhere on the bag. We do not have the dust cover. Please note regarding why we took this bag to Louis Vuitton. The interior Richard Prince hand-heat-embossing on the interior plaque, namely the line that reads Printemps Ete 2008, is not crisp (it actually looks clearer in the photos with our zoom lens then it does to the naked eye). This was a little bit of a concern and so we took it in. The manager and a sales associate who know us well and are always happy to help us, confirmed the bag is authentic and gave us today's value of $3,200. We were told that the embossing was done by hand... heat stamped... but not by machine. That occasionally the embossing will "bleed" and that is what happened here. Another note, the bag was owned by a Saudi princess (that's no joke - no pun intended). The bag was given to one of her security people, who lives here, as a "tip" and he occasionally will send these "tips" to us. If the embossing worries you, we welcome and encourage you to take this fantastic bag to your local LV where they will confirm the authenticity.
