Hermes 1980 Burgundy 28cm Kelly Bag

Hermes vintage 1980 burgundy 28cm Kelly bag. Blind stamp J circled, craftsman's stamp R. It is made of burgundy box calf leather and gold hardware. The padlock is brass. The interior zipper is vintage eclair with tassel pull. This bag is 36 years old and still in excellent condition. There are some light surface scratches. The leather on one end of the handle shows very light cracking and I also noticed some light cracking of the leather on the strap of the key clochette and one of the belt straps (see photos). Could be sent to the Leather Surgeons to have the leather reconditioned. The handle rings have some areas where the gold plate is scratched off and this could be redone as well. The four bottom corner edges are excellent showing no wear at all and the interior is immaculate. Made in France. Measures 11.25" x 8" x 4.25". Comes with dust cover and pouch for lock and key clochette.
